Glasses for Afghanistan
Your old prescription glasses are used to help
the people of Afghanistan. Major Tim Aamland distributes your old eye glasses to the people of Afghanistan as part of their
medical mission.
Two shipments were made to Major Aamland in Afghanistan of nearly 1500 pairs of glasses. We
received glasses from District Councils and participating parishes.
Major Aamland has returned and presented
us with a certificate of appreciation and a flag that was flown over Afghanistan. (Click on"Afgan Assist" to the left)
